This is such a great article about the country of Uganda and about the character of the President of Uganda.
Elder Grilliot is going into a country that is ripe and ready to hear about the Savior and to be taught the gospel and this article is evidence of that. I was very impressed with the prayer given by this President and his courage to proclaim his beliefs in God openly. He gave this prayer in celebration of Uganda's 50th anniversary of independence from England. Independence day in Uganda is celebrated on October 9th, 2012.
